IPC 50th Anniversary Header

Leadership

IPC’s global status today reflects the quality of the commitment of time, energy and talent that all of our top leaders have contributed to ensuring the success of the IPC, and the intelligent growth of our industry. To these leaders and to the thousands of others, we say thank you.

Board chairmen/volunteer presidents

IPC has had 21 volunteer presidents and 4 board chairmen over course of its 50 years. Many volunteered in various capacities for 10 years. Each leader has brought his or her own personal commitment to excellence, striving to ensure that IPC would never be satisfied with past successes, urging constant improvements in standing programs, and welcoming ideas for new programs to benefit the membership.

Note: Until 1995, the top volunteer on the IPC Board was referred to as the IPC President and the Chief Staff Officer was the Executive Director. Ultimately, the Board decided that IPC’s Chief Staff Officer would be President; the top Board leader became the Chairman of the Board.

IPC Raymond E. Pritchard Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame Award is given to individuals in recognition of the highest level of achievement, extraordinary contributions and distinguished service to IPC. The nominee must support the advancement of the industry, including a spirit of mutual esteem and respect among members consistent with the goals and mission of IPC. This is the highest level of recognition IPC can give to a member and is based on exceptional merit over the long term. The recipient’s contributions should have broad significance to the electronic interconnection industry, and this person must be a member of IPC or have been a member at the time of retirement.

IPC President’s Award Winners

The President's Award is given to IPC members who have exhibited ongoing leadership in IPC and have made significant contributions of their time and talent to the association and the electronic interconnect industry. Individuals can receive this award only once. IPC would be very different today without the leadership of these exceptional individuals.
